Key features of a magazine
Masthead= Title of a magazine which is usually the largest font on the page.
Anchorage text= tells you more about the stories
Puffs= Tells you more what is inside the magazines (free gifts, posters etc)
Skyline= Strip across the top of the cover
Colour scheme= Colours used and who it is targeting (high key vs low key)
Slogan= a saying to promote the magazine
Sell line = These promote other films or products which is in the contents of the magazine.
Subheading- A heading given to a subsection of writing which usually gives explanation of the sell line
Bar code= machine readable code which is compulsory to have on all shopping items. Also has the price of the magazine located here
Main image= Usually located in the centre of the cover and is usually the main focal point which is used to grab the audience's attention
